Dynamometer Services

We offer Dynamomter services for the needs of each individual or race team. Our Mustang MD-AWD-500 dynamometer can match results, time after time, as a run on the street! Just compare the results with your ET slips. There is nothing worse, in our opinion, than being mislead about your performance only to be embarrassed at the track!

 

The strength of the MD-AWD-500 dynamometer is in its ability to test both axles of the vehicle under the same imposed load; while at the same time synchronizing front and rear wheel speed. Many dynamometer manufacturers today offer AWD dynos where the front and rear rollers are not connected together, or are allowed to drift at different rates. This allows the front and rear wheels of the vehicle to travel at different speeds which can cause significant damage to the center differential of the vehicle. The mechanical linkage on the MD-AWD-500 allows us to also test, for example, 2WD vehicles with traction control systems that will activate when they see the rear wheels spinning, but not the fronts.

 

With a wheelbase range of 88" to 118" and a maximum track width of 80", the MD-AWD-500 has the capability of testing any AWD or 2WD car on the road today. We can also test motorcycles!
